Now that his three children and wife are

computer literate the only useful contributions he makes around the house are walking the dog and killing large spiders.

Dr. Rosengarten is an obstetrician and gynaecologist in Vancouver, British Columbia. He works out of BC Women’s Hospital, where he practices obstetrics, and out of St. Paul’s Hospital, where he provides gynaecological care.

He has his private clinic in City Square Mall.

Dr. Mark Rosengarten graduated from medical school in Johannesburg a long time ago. He graduated with the highest temperature in his class!

He immigrated to Canada and moved to northern Manitoba, where he worked as a rural family doctor for 3 years.

After relocating to Vancouver in 1991, he started his residency at UBC in the department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and graduated in 1995.

His scope of practice includes high- and low-risk obstetrical care, minimally invasive surgery and general gynaecological surgery. He also provides well women care, infertility workups and contraceptive counseling.

He sits on a number of committees at BC Women’s Hospital and is involved in resident and peer teaching. He has won numerous teaching awards.

He developed a love for road biking in the last few years and he can be seen riding his bike most weekends, trying hard to catch up to the rest of the group who are well ahead of him. He looks awful in spandex!
